KARATE FOR KIDS

...and adults too!

Welcome!

Welcome to the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). Our ATA family includes more than 130,000 men, women, and children training in Songahm Taekwondo at more than 800 schools and clubs across the United States.

ATA Martial Arts of Cape Cod was opened in 2002 under the instructions of senior instructor Tom Murray Sr. Tony Rambert, a 4th Degree Black belt in the ATA, became lead instructor in 2008, and school owner in 2010. Mr. Rambert is trained and certified to teach classes to kids in a fun and safe manner to help improve confidence, discipline, and fitness.

Our adult classes are geared towards helping to improve strength, coordination, and focus. It’s a perfect opportunity for parents to do an activity with their children as a family! We believe that a family that kicks together, sticks together.

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope to see you soon!

Types of Events

Community Demonstrations

Our school often participates in local events like festivals, parades, community fairs, and more. This gives us the opportunity to promote the school while the kids showcase their skills. It also fosters a sense of pride and connectedness with our community.

Tournaments/Competition

ATA tournaments offer students the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain competitive experience, and connect with the broader martial arts community.

Winter, Spring, and Summer Camps

Karate for Kids hosts week long (Mon. through Fri.) winter, spring, and summer vacation camps that combine martial arts training with fun activities. These camps typically include Taekwondo workouts, character-building exercises, arts and crafts, and team-building activities. Students arrive by 9:00 AM and are picked up at 5:00 PM. Parents are welcome to visit and check in on their students anytime.

Workshops/Clinics

We periodically offer workshops to practice self-defense techniques and strategies while enhancing personal safety and situational awareness.

Holiday Parties, Movie Nights and More!

Sometimes the kids just want to get together with their karate friends and watch a movie on the mats! We provide pizza, drinks, and snacks at these events; parents are free to leave the kids off and have a few hours to themselves! We also have our annual "turkey burn" on the Friday after Thanksgiving, where kids are invited to "burn off" all of those holiday treats, see their friends, and expend some energy.
